Sorry I been absent for so long been so busy, my father in law has move with us and need to adjust a lot of things 🙂
Anyway I am starting to get my groove back and some time in my hand again so I have entered the Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 287 and this is what I have done, have a look,
I used the blissful butterflies to make my background and used some distress ink to resist the embossing.
For the center I used the cheeky monkey set and colored with my markers, I think it looks cute.
Well thank you for stopping and looking at my blog much appreciated.
Hello there, wow alredy in March that is quick.
Ok I been experimenting with foil and I have to said it has been a lot of trial and errors but I have to said I am happy with my results.
What I wanted to find out was a solution to use my stamps with the foil technique, and I have to said I am happy with my technique now.
I bought a cheap ( $120.00) mono laser multifunction printer, it has copy, scan and print function. What I did was I stamped the stamp in a normal printer paper and after I make a copy of that, I loaded the paper were the foil is going to be applied or vellum and it works, well I am happy to do it that way because I can use all my stamps not a problem.
After I applied the foil and I passed through my ($25.00) laminator and I am happy with the outcome.
Have a look at the results :
Well thank you for talking the time to read my little spill.
Happy crafting ☺
I am trying my best to keep up with my blog, so I got this card today is done with the lawn fawn chit chat stamp set.
Foil, foil, foil, I been hearing a lot about foils so I decided to try it my self and this is the end result, I have to said I do like this technique but I would like to find a better way to use my stamps with this technique.
The front of the card has been embossed with an embossing folder I am sorry I cannot remember the name of the folder, and I used the lawn fawn sweater weather petite paper pack for the front panel of the card.
Since the images are small on this stamp set I decide to add a sentiment inside the card too.
This card has been made for mojo monday # 435 and also for lawnscaping challenge #124
Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to read much appreciated.
Happy Crafting 🙂
February is here and half way through, time is really in a hurry 🙂
Well I have entered another challenge from Avery Elle the challenge is about friendship
I used the Polar pals stamp and die set to make this card, I colored the polar bears with my Kaisercraft fusion markers similar to copics.
The papers I used are from lawn fawn and for the border a Martha Stewart punch. I have done a gold embossing in vellum for the greeting..
Thank you for taking the time of looking at my card, much appreciated.
I have entered another challenge this one is from Mojo Monday the sketch is the following:
What I did was a square card with Elizabeth Craft Designs peel off stickers Roses in Oval.
I used the gelly rolls pen from Sakura pens to colour the roses. The background of the card I use the Pina Colada collection from Kaisercraft.
This is the my interpretation of the sketch 🙂
Thank you for taking the time in checking my humble card.
Happy Crafting 🙂
Hello, here in ozzy land we are celebrating Australia Day, due of the public holiday I decided to make this card with the theme of Australia day.
What is more Australian that a bbq on this day hey
At the same time I want to enter a Lawnscaping challenge, is double challenge for me because me and water colours do not match at all, is hard for me to do anything using water colours so I was really interested in doing this challenge.
The stamp and die set I used was the lets bbq from lawn fawn, the frame was from mama elephant die set and the salty ocean and picked raspberry distress ink from Tim holtz.
I used embossing powder Zing Rouge and White from American Crafts and clear embossing powder from Stamp-it and here it is the end result.
Celebrate Australia Day
Thank you for taking the time to look at my humble card,
Happy Crafting 🙂
